Ava Organics Coconut Crispy Rollers

These Coconut Crispy Rollers are a snack for my daughter that I find myself hiding on the top shelf so I can have them for myself! When I first tried these rollers I was absolutely blown away by the texture of them! 

The flaky coconut has the slightest coconut flavor and they come in cinnamon, original coconut, black pepper garlic, turmeric ginger, and thai chili lime and they are AMAZING. 

The flavors are subtle but refined. Something I can appreciate in a snack for me or my daughter. They use all organic ingredients and each one is carefully thought out and made with love. You can definitely feel that in every bite.

Black Pepper Garlic Fried Zucchini

Today I'll be highlighting the savory Black Pepper Garlic Coconut Crispy Roller. While they are incredible on their own, I thought how good would this be if we AIR FRIED it on some delicious zucchini?!

So I took a couple of bags, crushed them up into a fine texture, and dredged my zucchini in them. Popped them in the air fryer and you wouldn’t believe how tasty they are!

It was almost the texture of a fried pickle and you could definitely pair this with any dipping sauce you like (Sriracha Mayo maybe?!) 

How To Get Perfectly Air Fried Zucchini

So for the best results you want to make sure each zucchini round is uniform in size. Using a mandolin would help a lot! 

If you want super crispy “chips” cut very thin, if you want a more substantial bite go ahead and cut them a little thicker. Both are absolutely delicious!

No air fryer? That’s ok! Pop them on a sheet tray and bake at 375 for 10 minutes. Flip them over half way through cooking. 

Black Pepper Air Fried Zucchini Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 zucchini thinly sliced
  • 2 (80g) bags Ava Organics Black Pepper Garlic Coconut Crispy Rollers
  • 1 teaspoon salt 
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • Coconut oil cooking spray (or avocado oil)

Instructions:

  • Thinly slice your zucchini 
  • Crush your Ava Organics Coconut Rollers or put them in a food processor and pulse. 
  • In a shallow dish, add your whisked egg. In a second shallow dish place the crushed Ava Organics Coconut Crispy Rollers mixed with salt. 
  • Take each zucchini round and dip in the egg then coat in the Coconut Crispy Rollers.
  • Repeat until all are done. Air fry in batches at 375 for 10 minutes OR Bake at 375 for 10 minutes flipping them over half way through cooking. 
  • Serve in a bowl with your favorite dipping sauce! Sriracha mayo would be awesome! 
  • Enjoy!
