Baked Shrimp Dip with Cream Cheese and Sour Cream

Most good appetizers in my book include cheese and seafood. This Hot Shrimp Dip has BOTH and is also loaded with veggies. A low-carb appetizer that is as easy to make as it is to eat.

Baked in the oven to perfection creamy shrimp dip is truly easy to make and I have a few tricks up my sleeve to make it even easier!

Low Carb Creamy Shrimp Dip

Easy shrimp dip includes a few pantry staple ingredients as well as some pre-cooked frozen shrimp. Semi-homemade and PERFECT for game day, holiday dinners, or just a weekday snack.

Ingredients for Creamy Shrimp Dip

  • cooked shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • cream cheese
  • sour cream
  • corn
  • green bell pepper
  • shredded cheese
  • Italian dressing mix
  • green onion
  • crackers or veggies for serving

If you are loving this dip as much as I do, check out Skinny Fiesta Dip or Creamy Buffalo Jackfruit Dip. These are all great options for a Game Day or Holiday dinner appetizer.

Trick For The Easiest Homemade Dip

Ok, so my secret ingredient here to really amp up the flavor is the Italian dressing powdered salad mix.

I also use a powdered mix for this White Bean Dip! It's the best trick for creating easy homemade dips without slaving for hours creating layers of flavor.

Mix the Italian dressing mix up with the cream cheese and sour cream and you've got yourself the base for this Shrimp Dip!

What To Dip in Cheesy Shrimp Dip

The possibilities are endless when you think about your scooping options for this creamy shrimp dip.

The flavors of the dip mix really well with veggies, all types of crackers, or even on some crusty bread!

I chose to use crunchy breadsticks and a garden vegetable cracker to enjoy my hot shrimp dip.

Tips For Shrimp Dip

Dips are great appetizers and I love having a few easy recipes like this one on hand. Here are some FAQs and tips for the best Shrimp Dip!

Can I Make This Ahead of Time?

Absolutely! I would actually encourage it. For easy prep, make the dip and get it in the baking dish. Pop it in the oven 20 minutes before you need to serve it.

Can I Substitute Something else for Shrimp?

You could use lump crab meat or lobster, shredded chicken, or even ground beef if you wanted to!

How Do I Store The Shrimp Dip?

Serve in an airtight Tupperware container and simply reheat in the microwave to enjoy it! This keeps well up to 5 days.
