Lobster Ravioli Sauce

Whether you want to cook a fancy date-night dinner for 2 or you just picked up a bag of lobster ravioli because it looked delish - I've got the recipe for you! This Lobster Ravioli with Cheesy Mushroom Sauce is a 30-minute meal perfect for that store-bought ravioli.

It's a white wine lobster ravioli sauce loaded with earthy mushrooms, garlic, lemon, and crisp wine. It's light yet super comforting with the taste of buttery lobster ravioli.

Sauce For Lobster Ravioli

So while these little stuffed pastas are delicious on their own, we're stepping up the game with a creamy lobster ravioli sauce with mushrooms.

I think a white sauce with garlic, cheese, wine, and lemon complements the delicate lobster flavor without overpowering it.

And if you've ever had Boursin cheese, well I think you'd agree you want to find ALL THE WAYS to use it. Boursin cheese ravioli sauce is the perfect use!

Ingredients

  • Premade lobster ravioli
  • olive oil
  • white wine
  • lemon juice
  • mushrooms
  • Boursin cheese
  • garlic cloves
  • salt and pepper
  • parsley for topping
  • bread for serving

The balance of the acidic lemon, crisp wine, and earthy mushrooms is rounded out with the creamy cheese and makes the most delicious sauce for our ravioli.

Mushroom is one of my favorite ways to add tons of flavor to dishes! If this was a hit with you, try out my Mushroom Lentil Risotto or Vegan Broccoli "Cheese" Soup.

Where to Buy Lobster Ravioli

Lobster ravioli should be pretty easy to locate. I grab mine from Trader Joe's, but I've seen it in the refrigerated section at Kroger, Sprouts, and Whole Foods too.

If you can't find any storebought, maybe consider making your own with this recipe for lobster ravioli.

Cooking Lobster Ravioli in Sauce

You'll want to follow the instructions on the packaging for the lobster ravioli to cook them perfectly.

I like to boil them for 4-5 minutes, not fully tender yet, and then the final few minutes of cooking add them into our sauce.

This ensures that the sauce is flavored with lobster, and the ravioli gets married to the cheesy mushroom sauce. It's perfection!
