Easy Recipe For Salmon Bites

A tangy teriyaki sauce tossed together with the easiest crispy salmon bites is the perfect meal prep meal or impressive enough for a dinner party! The best part is that this salmon bowl comes together in less than 30 minutes.

Equipment

  • 1 air fryer

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs salmon about 2.5 filets
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • juice 1 lime
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
  • juice of 1 lime
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • 4 cups cooked rice
  • ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
  • ¼ cup basil leaves, chopped
  • 4 sliced green onions
  • 1 10 oz frozen edamamme
  • 2 avocados sliced
  • sesame seeds for topping

Instructions

  • Cut the salmon filets into 1 inch cubes and place in a mixing bowl.
  • Toss the salmon cubes with the salt, pepper, minced garlic, honey, lime juice, and olive oil.
  • Preheat your air fryer at 400 degrees for about 5 minutes.
  • In batches, place the salmon cubes in the basket of the air fryer and at 400 degrees, cook the salmon for 7-8 minutes.
  • While those cook, in a large mixing bowl, whisk the teriyaki sauce by combining the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, lime juice, ginger paste, garlic powder, and water.
  • Add the cooked salmon bites to the teriyaki sauce and carefully stir the salmon to coat in the sauce.
  • To the rice, add the basil, cilantro, and green onion and stir.
  • Serve over the herbed rice topped with edamame, sliced green onions, sliced avocado, sliced cucumber and the teriyaki salmon.
  • Finish with sesame seeds and enjoy!
