Delicious Smooth Espresso Martini Recipe

Easy to make espresso martini recipe that is delicious, smooth, and has that kick of coffee everyone loves. Made with vodka, Baileys, and rich espresso its an experience every time you sip!

Equipment

  • 1 Cocktail Shaker
  • 2 martini glasses

Ingredients

  • 2 shots of espresso 2 oz
  • 2 oz Baileys
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • ½ cup ice
  • espresso beans for topping

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker combine all ingredients except for espresso beans.
  • Shake for 30 to 60 seconds.
  • Strain into two martini glasses and top with espresso beans. Enjoy!

Notes

TIPS & TRICKS!
  • Use the best ingredients. So, even if you get a substitute, I'd say stick to Bailey's Irish Cream. 
  • Let your espresso cool before adding it to the shaker. Otherwise, it'll melt the ice cubes and dilute your drink.
  • Shake the cocktail for at least 20-30 seconds to get that creamy texture and foam on top. 
  • Garnish your beautiful drink with crushed coffee beans, coffee powder, or cocoa powder. I wouldn't mind a chocolate syrup drizzle, either.
  • Serve in chilled glasses to keep the drink cold until you finish it. And serve it immediately.
