French Onion White Bean Dip
A delicious, low carb and high protein side dish flavored with caramalized onions and French Onion dip mix. Its a quick and easy snack or appetizer.

- 2 cans of northern beans drained
- 1 packet of French Onion Dip mix
- 2 yellow onions thinly sliced
- ½ tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 5 cloves of garlic
In a skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil for 1 minute.
Add in the thinly sliced onions and 5 cloves of garlic. Let sit for 3 minutes.
Gently stir and add in the salt, pepper, and sugar.
Continue to stir and keep an eye on the onions for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
Add in the balsamic vinegar and give it a stir.
In a food processor combine all ingredients.
Blend for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
Add salt and more balsamic vinegar to taste.
Serve with pita chips!
