My Chicken Coop

Welcome to my little hen house! I am a first time chicken mom and we are raising our little backyard flock in a DIY chicken coop. Read along as I explain how I raise happy chickens, DIY'd our chicken coop, and everything in between!

We have 6 chickens and if I add any more I might get kicked out of my house! 3 silkies, 1 Dominique, 1 Green Queen, and 1 Black Orpington.

I named them after my favorite female chefs: Molly Yeh, Ree Drummond, Katie Lee & Julia Child. Then we had 2 girls added later named Buttermilk and Biscuit.
